Admission Requirements

Admission to Pilar College Basic Education (GS, JHS and SHS) is granted with a definite understanding that the pupil/student and his parents or guardian agree in writing to comply with the scholastic standards of the school and its rules and regulations.


            The school deserves the right, whenever necessary and expedient, to treat violations of the school rules and regulations in accordance with the Christian system of discipline and guidance. The right to dismiss any pupil for poor scholastic work or school conduct unbecoming of a Pilarist is likewise reserved to the school authorities.



Admission Requirements for New Pupils/Students and Transferees (Grade School, Junior High School and Senior High School)

            Admission to the Basic Education Department BED depends on the credentials presented, examination results and interview of the applicant.







1.   Junior Kinder – At least 4 years old by October of the school year

2.   Senior Kinder –  At least 5 years old by October of the school year

3.  Birth Certificate

4.   3 pieces 1×1 picture

5.   Report Card for Senior Kindergaten pupils who have enrolled in Junior Kindergarten.



Grade 1 – Grade 2


1.   Satisfactory ratings in all subjects from the first to the last grading period with a general average of
80% and above with no failing grades in any subject.

2.  Birth Certificate (PSA)

3.   3 pieces 1×1 picture

4.   Certificate of Good Moral Character

5.   Report Card





1.   High scholastic rating and valid reason for transfer may be considered for admission.

        A.  Preschool                              –           Mental Ability Test (English)

        B.  Grades 1 – Grade 12           –           Satisfactory ratings in Mental Ability





   Kindergarten – Grade 12                –           applicant should obtain a favorable evaluation

                                                                        from the interviewer.




       1.   Pupils/students who transferred to other schools or dropped and would like to come back may be re-admitted by
      passing the norms of admission for new pupils.

       2.   Applicant must have completed the intermediate course with satisfactory grades in all subjects (for Grade Seven
      and transferees applicants.)

       3.   Satisfactory ratings in achievement test in Math, English, and Oral Reading.

       4.   Submit the following Requirements:

a.   Form138 (Report Card)

b.   Letter of recommendation
attesting to the applicant’s good moral character from the Principal/Guidance
Counselor or Adviser in former school.

c.   Birth Certificate (PSA)

d.   3 pcs 1×1 ID pictures

       5.   Satisfactory result in the interview as conducted by the admission committee.

       6.   Physically fit.

       7.   Should sign a Probationary Contract for one year.


  8. New students and transferees are required to attend the orientation.
